Lahainaluna High School Academy of Hospitality and Tourism

   Welcome to Lahainaluna High School's Academy of Hospitality and Tourism Website! 

    The Academy of Hospitality and Tourism (AOHT) is a Program of Study offered at     
   Lahainaluna, a public school which accommodates both day and boarding students.    
    Lahainaluna High School is located on the slopes of the West Maui Mountains and was  
                   founded in 1831, the oldest school west of the Rockies.

    The AOHT program prepares students (ages 14 - 18) for careers in hospitality and 
       tourism management.  Students improve oral and written communication skills and
           learn to carry themselves in a professional manner.  Students complete job
    applications, prepare resumes, participate in mock interviews, and find internships in
           the tourism industry.  Students also experience Field Trips, Guest Speakers,
                        Community Service, and Familiarization (FAM) trips.
